Working for the UK Commission
The UK Commission is based within two modern and well equipped offices Wath-Upon-Dearne, South Yorkshire, which has access to free car parking and in Victoria, London. The London office is ideally situated for commuting from Victoria Station. Please refer to each role to ascertain the location.
Full time staff within the UK Commission are expected to work 42 hours a week with an hours break for lunch. Staff are entitled to 25 days annual leave plus 2.5 privilege days, in addition to all bank holidays.
Upon joining the UK Commission there will be the opportunity to join the Civil Service Pension Scheme, for which the employee contribution is 3.5% with employer contribution between 17.5% – 25.5%. Staff who reside in the London area will receive a London weighting allowance of £3,500 per annum in addition to their salary.
The UK Commission is open to allowing staff to work flexibly where appropriate and all requests for a flexible working arrangement will be fully considered.
The UK Commission also offers a childcare voucher scheme (run on a salary sacrifice basis) and access to occupational health care advice.
